The concert of my music in Iran — that is truly an exceptional event in my composer’s life. I am grateful to Navid Gohari and all the musicians who have taken interest in my music and are now introducing it to people in Iran. I compose music here and now — in this particular time and world we all share. In my music you may hear pain and sadness, even tragedy — but above all, I strive to tell the story of the greatest power in the world: Love.
